In May, 2015, we donated 11 blankets, paired with more than 11 books, to the Austin, Texas Ronald McDonald House during the MLA annual meeting. Six of these blankets were forwarded on by Deniz Enders from the American Turkish Association of North Carolina Knitting Club members. Special thanks to Darlene Ennis at Dell Children’s in Austin, who made sure the blankets and books were delivered. Here are photos of Ronald himself with one of the donations, as well as photos of the blankets at books on display at the Hospital Library Section annual meeting and ice-cream social.
